Allison is a Registered Provisional Psychologist in Alberta
and a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia. With ten years of
experience in the mental health field, Allison offers a practical,
evidence-based approach to helping individuals achieve their health goals. Whether you are feeling stuck, want to improve your mood,
anxiety, productivity, or stress, Allison’s background in social work offers a compassionate,
holistic lens through various scientific modalities including Eye Movement
Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT). Allison specializes in EMDR and works with youth and individuals
of all genders and ethnic backgrounds. Allison supports her clients in areas
including stress management, burnout, anxiety, assertiveness, attaining
work/life balance, confidence, goal directed work, among other varying
challenges, including trauma and PTSD. Her direct experience with Indigenous
populations in social work for six years has instilled a skilled ability to
empower and work with varying complexities. While everyone undoubtedly suffers in life at one point or
another, Allison has witnessed that authentic expression, resilience, and tools
are armor for life's storms and success. She prioritizes trusting relationships
and solutions in practice and is passionate about wellness, dance, and being in
