Cathryn is a Registered Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working within the field of mental health. Using a client-centred and tailor-made approach, she is dedicated to supporting others to feel and do their absolute best! She believes that by identifying and removing barriers that may prevent others from living their optimal life, they can make space for a bigger opportunity to grow, learn, and develop more self-awareness and live more fully into what they are ultimately capable of.
Cathryn specializes in working with children, youth, adults, and couples experiencing concerns with: emotional regulation, ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress, communication challenges, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, performance challenges, self-harm, trauma and PTSD, life transitions, and women's issues.
Using a trauma informed, holistic, and strength-based approach, Cathryn draws from techniques and strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, EMDR, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Gottman, and Emotional Freedom Technique.
Cathryn is available weekdays and evenings for phone, video, and in-person sessions at the Wholeness Psychology Sherwood Park office.
