Registered Provisional Psychologist

Miranda is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who believes that everyone is capable of transformational change and she feels honored to walk with her clients through their individual healing journeys towards lasting and meaningful change. She brings a calm energy to her sessions and strives to create a warm, and caring environment in order to help her clients feel safe, understood, and accepted as they are.

Miranda specializes in working with youth and adults with depression, anxiety, identity/meaning/self-concept concerns, highly sensitive people, stress management challenges, attachment concerns, boundary setting and communication, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, women’s issues, ADHD, childhood trauma, and trauma related disorders.

Miranda’s approach to therapy is humanistic, client-centered, holistic, and collaborative. She is trauma informed and attachment informed and utilises strategies and techniques from EMDR, cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, narrative therapy, and internal family systems. She has a particular interest in the research and theory in the field of attachment neurobiology and early childhood relational trauma as well as depression and anxiety.
Miranda is available weekdays, evenings and weekends.
