She specializes in working with individuals with neurodevelopmental diagnoses, such as ASD, ADHD, and FASD.
Saly has experience working with multidisciplinary teams and strives to adapt her approach to meet the unique needs of each child and family. She is passionate about using her training and experience to equip each child and their family with the skills and the tools to navigate the demands of everyday life, reach their highest potential, and achieve a quality of life.
Saly's Service Options:
- Saly offers a free 15 minutes consultation to decide if occupational therapy is a fit and for occupational therapy directions and recommendations.
- 1 hour virtual and in-person consultation sessions for parents and caregivers who want to get strategies to try at home first in their home or are waiting for FSCD services and need some support interim.
- Assessments and direct treatment sessions are provided in-person. Initial assessment typically takes 2 hours. This involves parent or caregiver interview, observations and assessment of the child’s level. Some time will be reserved to debrief the family, discuss target areas and therapy goals and documentation.
- Treatment sessions are typically booked for one hour. During treatment sessions, OT will use different play-based activities to address therapy goals. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to observe. During treatment sessions, time will be allocated to discuss updates, progress, new or modified strategies for parents and caregivers to try at home.
Saly has weekday appointments available out of the Wholeness Psychology Sherwood Park office.
