Sinoj Thomas

Registered Psychologist

Sinoj is a Registered Psychologist and also holds an MPhil degree and Master’s degree both in Clinical Psychology. He offers a therapeutic environment of unconditional positive acceptance to help couples, individuals and families to access their ability to heal, grow, enhance their quality of life, and reach their relationship and individual goals. He is a compassionate and open-minded person who believes that everyone has the potential to make meaningful changes, if offered the right environment and resources. 

In Sinoj’s work with couples, individuals and families, he specializes working with a variety of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship and marital distress, boundary setting, communication concerns, separation and divorce, grief and loss, anger management, self-esteem and self-worth, stress management, and challenges with substances.

Sinoj believes that all clients have the potential for change and growth. He uses an integrative approach to therapy to support this process and combines elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness based approaches, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

Sinoj is available weekdays, evening and weekends for in-person, phone, or video sessions out of Sherwood Park.
