Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

Post-traumatic stress disorder, commonly known as PTSD, can happen
to anyone who has been through a traumatic situation.
Being involved in or even witnessing disturbing, shocking, or painful events like car accidents,
assault or abuse, serious or life-threatening injuries or illnesses, violent crime,
and more can cause you to develop PTSD.

What Are The Signs & Symptoms Of PTSD?

Below are some common signs and symptoms that you may be experiencing PTSD.

  • ​Depression/Anxiety
  • ​Self-destructive behaviours like problem gambling, excessive porn use, gaming, etc.

  • ​Explosive outbursts of anger
  • ​Feeling emotionally numb or disconnected from loved ones and friends
  • ​Avoiding people, places, or events that trigger the trauma you experienced​
